August 4, 2014 at 10:40 PMDownloading mp3 and playing them later on a mobile device, off line...
Walking on the bright side, I mention here that I've just noticed that the written text of the dialogs is included in the mp3 files...Cool feature...
Reading the text requires an appropriate mp3 player though ...My smartphone got the good player...so in addition to the website itself where anybody can study the dialog off line, that gives me one more possibily ( 一共 2 ways off line then for me... not 3 cos the android app unexpectedly crashed )
As Aprillardie previously said, an Intermediate lesson at full speed can be 太刺激了...I confess that I once modified the speed to listen to the dialog with more self-confidence ...but now admit that this is not the good thing to do again... if I want to get familiar with real situations...

August 4, 2014 at 9:38 PM他对着军车行了个军礼。
Tā duì zhe jūnchē xíng le gè jūnlǐ。
He saluted the military car.
( 行个军礼 to perform a military hand salute )
In that example, I would say "towards", rather than "continually facing"...but anyway, I don't like to complain about a few minor mistakes or missing details sometimes in CP because globally the team has been doing a very good job so far...

August 3, 2014 at 3:31 PMJust a detail :
对着镜子
对着 = towards (am I right ?)
The popping small boxes don't make it clear, I think, saying that 对= towards and 着= zhe
Besides, I like this dialogue very much but I had to slow it down a little bit in order to distinguish each word in " 跟我抢电视遥控器 "...Actually that's part of the fun in a 'real' situation nonetheless...
And do Chinese often say 遥控 instead of 遥控器 ?

August 5, 2014 at 10:44 PM我看不出它们之间有什么区别。
Wǒ kànbùchū tāmen zhījiān yǒu shénme qūbié.
I can't see any distinction between them.
这么简单的事, 我都没说清楚 !
Zhème jiǎndān de shì , wǒ dōu méi shuō qīngchu。
Something so simple, I can't explain it clearly.
" 滚蛋 "
...learned from you...I like collecting colloquial expressions...Thx !
Sometimes, formal language 弱爆了。。。
