This lesson was written by an author named Xiao Yao from China. This is a discussion of her opinion on a Tiger Mom's teaching styles advantages and disadvantages. Her nephew who grew up in China, and came to the US to get his degree translated this lesson. We felt like he could best translate what she was trying to communicate. The dialogue is composed of different sentences taken from their conversation about this topic. You are correct, their English isn't at a native speakers level of proficiency. However the lesson is does make sense in Chinese. Also Fiona hasn't been with ChinesePod for almost a year now. Thanks for writing in.
