December 24, 2014 at 5:35 PMFixed, although those are just tone change rules that you would learn naturally during your studies and is only important in spoken Chinese.

December 24, 2014 at 5:26 PMYou can use the ChinesePod app, or alternatively, use your self study RSS feed with the Apple Podcast app, then click on the cloud icon on there to save to the device.
You can follow these instructions I wrote to help you:

December 22, 2014 at 7:14 AMI'm sorry to hear that. What is your current download speed (go to speedtest.net)? Have you tried with/without a VPN and still have the same issues. It might be a temporary problem with the internet in China since I don't personally have issues with download speed in the UK or Taiwan. Regarding the repeating of the episode at 38secs, this seems to be linked to the above problem, but you could try playing with the old player by clicking the link under the web player which says 'Switch back to the old player'.

December 14, 2014 at 11:17 AMCorrect, back in 2006, all of the Cpod episodes went out on iTunes and the premium content could be found on the website for users that wanted to study it more in depth. Nowadays, all of the content is published directly on the website, but when I came on board, I re-added a selection of Classic episodes back onto iTunes as well as publishing content on YouTube.

December 25, 2014 at 7:37 AMVery interesting indeed. I've always been unsure how to write tone sandhi since I mostly only learn with Characters these days. It seems the jury is out, but in general, "Tone change and tone sandhi are not represented in Pinyin."1
Others have found this info: Dictionary doesn't show tone changes, textbooks do, elementary school textbooks don't.2
@eals, what is your opinion on 不.
