I have a question regarding the use of 哪 and 什么。I was wondering if they are interchangeable, and if so, when. For example, in the dialog, the woman says 哪个阿姨?Could she have also said 什么阿姨?The way I understand it, the only difference I see is that 哪 requires a measure word and 什么 does not. So I guess that using 哪 would be make a more specific question possibly hinting to the number of people/items in case 些 was instead instead of 个, whereas 什么 would constitute a more general question. Kind of like the difference between 几点 and 什么时候 when asking about time, but with less of a difference in the answer. Am I on the right track here or am I way off? Can someone please give me an example where 哪+(measure word) cannot be replaced by 什么 if such examples exist?
