September 21, 2007 at 3:05 AMOops, I stand corrected. Dave just showed me the movie (which I've never seen, hehe). It is, in fact, not animation. I think a person could reasonably assume that when pigs start talking, it is a cartoon film, though... HINT HINT

September 21, 2007 at 2:38 AMhi Rash, Yes, that's a funny one too. It's usually used by an adult, when a kid is being disrespectful. They would say: 你不要老七老八. (Nǐ bùyào lǎo qī lǎo bā.) Funnily enough, you can also say: 老三老四 (lǎo sān lǎo sì)... it means the same thing! The Chinese do love their numbers!

That's dedication. Yes, I think 30 is old for Eileen, cause she's only 23 or so. When she is 30, I'm sure she will think 30 is just a young pup ;)... Dear Amber does not endorse any opinions heard on her show about 30 being old, hahah! Re: 混血 (hùnxué), yes that's what I said. It's a really common term to describe 'mixed blood' kids here. I don't think it's offensive, taxi drivers ask me all the time if I'm 混血 (hùnxué)... which I wish I were! :)
