In our upper-intermediate lessons, we focused on the sentence structures and colloquial languages we used on a daily basis in order to make discussions and debates. Assumed that learners are pretty fluent in the Mandarin Chinese language, we tend to not insert any contents in English to assure that our learners are immersed thoroughly in the foreign language itself. We do understand if we wrap it up in English, certainly, the key points are going to be delivered, but at the same time, learners lose the chance to explore the language, which I think is really important for students with a higher level of Mandarin Chinese.
