Hi!

Thanks for this very useful lesson :) I've been a loyal customer of Chinesepod since 2007 and it has been an instrumental tool to learn Chinese and get exposure to daily conversation. Being based in Paris I don't get indeed plenty of opportunities to hear natives speaking!

Hence my comment and I hope you won't take it personally. Gwilym, your command of mandarin is awesome and I hope I can speak as fluently as you some day soon!:) Still when I listen to the dialogue, I'm sorry but of course it does not sound as natives. Of course I can go back then to the dialogue where sentence by sentence it's usually recorded by natives. But then I don't get the full conversation in a row in "native" mandarin. And what I've been looking for with these podcasts is precisely to have long, ininterrupted conversation led by natives, it's my way of immerging myself...Which leads to my request: could you please consider registering the dialogues with native-speaking only. I'll be happy to listen to Fiona and Gwilym on top, because the duo works very well, lively and nice, but please understand my frustration to have half of my immersion moment split in 2... Besides, being located in Taiwan I'm sure there are plenty of native speakers who could contribute and help us "grow" our ear just as if we were there... Again, I hope you don't find this message offensive, but for me it is very key in what has been making Chinesepod so precious all of these years, In the meantime, keep going, I've loved seeing the new videos introductions and fresh impulse, cheers, Dao

Hi Dont want to be nasty with gwilym but would rather have the whole dialogs be recorded by native. The whole point of chinesepod for me is to provide daily exposure to chinese speaking as I am not in China and don't have much opportunities to hear it . If you cut all dialogues by half its even less exposure! I know you left the possibility to hear each sentence by sentence but it's much less fluid. Hearing both dialog and sentence by sentence is important to me..and I do both to learn... Cheers

Hi, very interesting and useful lesson. I noticed that the voice recording the expansion part and detailed sentences is very low, like it lacks "energy".Could you make it a bit louder next time please ? Thanks!

Hi! I have a question in using the different 地 and 得 in your expansion section (is the japanese you speak fluent?/ the English manager speaks is not fluent..)

Can you use  both 地 and 得  when referring to a verb , or they can not be replaced by one another?

Kindly advise, thanks a lot!
