Hi! agree with Mike, please handle the recording because can't discern anything (almost..).

ok for realistic dialogues for speed but this echo is very difficult to manage! thanks for your understanding (so that we can understand:))

oh? I don't know as I bought the dictionary in France; I checked but there is no mention of where it was printed

I could only find 2002 and Beijing..Maybe I should buy a new dictionnary.. Any advise? (sth that I could find on Amazon though..) Thks a lot

I have found cheng2ji1 for accomplishment in my dictionnary? In the dialogue it comes out as cheng2ji4 (fouth tone for ji)

I guess it's 2-1 tones. Please kindly confirm

@pearltowerpete : Hilarious english translation! May I compete with the "beef penis with magical herbs" that I found on a Vietnamese menu.. It was years ago, and to this day haven't found a better icebreaker for a first dinner..! :)

Thanks a lot for this entertaining and useful episode!

I must confess I did steal a menu when I was in Beijing.. so I'm not the only one :).. feel less ashamed now! (can still remember the look my chinese friend gave me then..)
