This lesson has a word "片子“ , that I have a question about.

Can it also be pronounced piànzi, when talking about movies? Do mainland  Chinese people ever say piànzi instead of piānzi? I'm pretty sure Taiwanese people say piànzi

My teacher said the word 课件 (kèjiàn) today. What does this mean?

What would be the clearest way to say "American Chinese food" or "Americanized Chinese food", so that a Chinese person in China could understand it?

美式中餐 ?

美式中国菜?

美国化的中国菜?

okay, cool. Which is more commonly used among Chinese people, 大麦町犬 or 斑点犬 ? Or is this breed of dog mostly unknown in China?

If I want to say "I want to get some new speakers for my car", how do I say that?

okay, so, for example, if I go to a convenience store to buy a bottle of water, and then the cashier says" 两块钱“, and then I say “是不是涨价了?" , and the cashier says “没有”, and then I say 能不能打折? And then the cashier says 额...and then I say 哈哈,开玩笑的. In this case, is the phrase 开玩笑的 used properly, or is there a more appropriate phrase to express that I was just kidding/messing/mucking around with the cashier ?
