Hey Jenny Zhu, very true and awesome fact that the Chinese saved more Jewish people than any other country during this time. Must be 1 of the reasons why Jewish people love Chinese food & Chinese people so much, and have a lot of respect for Chinese culture

Rich, furthermore, all the major theological aspects of Christianity were authored by Paul of Tarsus (the apostle Paul), who never personally knew Jesus in real life. Paul was more Roman than  he ever was Jewish and it was Jesus' brother James who took over the ministry after Jesus died. Jesus, James, and the rest of the disciples kept kosher and followed the laws of Torah. Christianity spread because of Constantine, and the Conference of Nicea in 325 CE (common era) is where the gospels were canonized into 4 out of hundreds. Jesus didn't fulfill any of the requirements of the Moshiach (Messiah), other than the fact that he was Jewish; the third temple in Jerusalem hasn't been built, world peace hasn't been achieved, and there was not a universal acceptance of G-d (paganism was still widely practiced in Jesus' time). The Romans killed Jesus; Jesus was arrested by 600 Roman Pretorian (I spelled that wrong, but the elite Roman soldiers), with the help of a few members of the Pharisee Rabbinnic Council, whom acted in secrecy. The Roman Empire became the imperialist power of the Roman Catholic Church, who had to alter history & the scriptures in order to transfer the blame of killing Jesus over to the Jewish people.  The suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is the Jewish people. The prophecy of Israel becoming a nation again has been fulfilled. When the real moschiach comes, sacrifices will resume at the temple when it's rebuilt, which refutes the Christianity's claim of Jesus being the ultimate sacrifice. Also, if you read Zechariah 8:23, it says at the end times that the world will ask Jews to show them the way because they know that G-d is with the Jewish people. One last thing, what distinguishes Judaism from every religion is that it's the only religion that's based upon national revelation between G-d and a people, which occured at Mt. Sinai; every other major religion is based upon an individual who had a revelation from G-d.

Rich, you should do some research and read some books before you make comments like that; Jewish people not only ask forgiveness from G-d, but also from other people that they've wronged, which is something that Christians don't do.  In fact, Christianity doesn't even emphasize any aspect having to do with seeking forgiveness, as long as you "believe in Jesus."  Also, the messiah hasn't come yet; Jesus saw himself as the moshiach within the context of the Hebrew scriptures, and he was a disciple of John the Baptist. The moschiach (messiah) was never supposed to be a deity or to die for the sins of the world, or any of that; those notions all come from Greco-Roman paganism. Also, the Catholic Church changed the scriptures in order to deify Jesus, because if you read the scriptures in context (jewishvirtuallibrary.org) without your "Jesus glasses," you would understand things better. Read The Jesus Dynasty, or The Greatest Story Ever Sold.

other good ones to use are: erbaiwu (250) which means fool. oh, and duan4bei4 is chinese slang for brokeback from the movie brokeback mountain. As in "tamen shi duanbei ren" or "tamen zuo duanbei." I don't have anything against gay people or anything, just that this is good curse word slang

thinkbuddha:  you're right, it's always better and preferable to be friendly, and I found a lot of people in China to practice speaking Chinese with and made lots of friends. However, sometimes you have to hold your ground and be direct with people, especially if they don't take a hint the first 3 or 4 times.

Another way to combat this is to speak English incredibly fast, using only slang, and with different accents. I would sometimes talk with a heavy NY/NJ Sopranos type of accent, or I would use slang from my area (Washington D.C.).  It's a great way to use reverse psychology because you cause the other person to lose face.
