I must say that the guys who prepared this lesson did not observe the basic rule that all Tri athletes understand.... the quality of the performance  always reflects the quality of the preparation ... it is true of all podcast lessons .

This leads me to raise a more general question about preparation of lesson topics . How much market research does Chinesse pod do in this regard amongst it's poddies?  Does Chinese pod ask it's poddies what topics it would like at the centre of the language itinerary?

The impression I get from my location in Brussels is that you sanitise your topics so much that anything that is the slightest bit controversial or could be interpreted as such by the authorities is taboo.

Arab Spring.... Presidential elections in France and US .... Euro crisis ..Chinese influence in Africa... Chinese living abroad and their social interactions.

I only mention this in the hope it may be construed positively and lead to some market research among your clients as to what subjects would draw more interest and of course more ,or continued ,subscription to Chinese pod.

on another issue concerning this lesson ....the use by our American team of the term bathroom and restroom. Never has a toilet looked less like either !

It might have been an imperfect legislation but if we consider the uncontrolled expansion of the Indian population over the same period .......India has families unable to feed their  children and many abandoned children too.

hmm. when I was a kid we couldn't afford expensive running shoes ... but year later I still run but carry injuries for having pounded the streets in running shoes with poor stability and little support ...Chinese runners will suffer pronation and supination too! I can't attempt to translate those two words !

Could the examples given in Qingwen lessons  be added in the same way as the dialogues are in standard lessons, please?
