How about a lesson dealing directly with the word "trust?" Maybe dealing with scams?

Another gender-bender podcast for Ken referring to the woman athlete as "the guy"...

AZERDocMom: After about a year listening to these podcasts, I'm starting to hear the tones correctly the first time (before K&J give the #'s)... give yourself time to become accustomed to hearing the tones. Tones are super important, but I think CPod strikes a good balance in their approach. I'm occassionally surprised when they don't give the tone # for a new word, but otherwise I wouldn't recomment that they do more than what they're doing now. (BTW, the problem I have w/tones is on compound words like gong gong qi4 che1 for bus... is that 4-1 or 1-4 on the gong gong?! I've forgotten again. Ok, I just checked, and it's 1-4)

I appreciate Bill's sensibility (I couldn't bring myself to wade through longer posts about the subject), but I think it's wrong to take this lesson for more than it is... an attempt to be fun and edgy teaching us how to discuss in Chinese what all of us should know to be true: there are a *lot* of women from Shanghai that simply cannot be trusted. Ask any woman from Beijing! :)

Italiana... when you finally figure out how to download the podcast (right-click, save as), you'll hear that the repetition of the color is a poetic thing.

I took a closer look, and I stand corrected... Lester's chords were much closer than I thought. The main problem is that there's no time associated with the changes, so it's easy to misread a chord held for two beats vs. a whole measure. Here's my version with bar lines: | C G | F G | C G | F G | | F G | Am | F D5(no 3)| C | So, the only real disagreement I have with Lester is in bar 4. Sorry!
