As for 好的女孩子多得是,"多得是" is another version of "多的是", and it has the same meaning as "有的是". The "多" is an adjective, and the "的" has the same function as that in "还有更贵的吗?", for example. I guess "好的女孩子多的(得)是" might be the inverted sentence of "多的是好的女孩子". As tal said above, we should swallow it down!
时间有的是!
朋友多的是!

the "person" who gets less than sixty points?
You guessed it right. And the "者" can be used not only for a person but also for a thing, for example, "前者" (the former) and "后者" (the latter).

Good job. I'm impressed with your enthusiasm to learn Chinese. Actually, this lesson is a little too difficult for Intermediate level. The gap in difficulty between elementary and intermediate lessons have long been a problem here.
Incidentally, you can see English translations of all the words used in a dialogue by mouse-over them. I guess you'll get the answer from Chinesepod early next week. In China, a lot of people are still enjoying 国庆节 holidays.

October 9, 2009 at 2:20 PM有人说,人生五大享受就是“住英国房子,拿美国工资,开德国汽车,雇中国厨师,娶日本女人”。话虽这么说,听完今天的对话我觉得中国老婆也很不错的。听说 最近在网上“日本老婆”因为温柔体贴而很受中国男人的欢迎,不过大家千万不要想得太美!无论是中国女人还是日本女人都很厉害又很难控制。老婆还是别人家的 好吗?哈哈

I should have said this way; "it's not appropriate to use 会 when you think something will happen for sure."
我下周会写信给你。
I think I will write you a letter next week.
I would just say "我下周写信给你" or "我下周一定会写信给你" if I'm sure about it. If I'm not 100% sure, I would say, for example, "我下周有空会写信给你"。
你回来之后还会爱我吗?
Will you still love me when you return?
Looks like this guy doesn't perfectly believe in her love, hehe.
我会 (你放心吧,肯定会!)
I will, of course I will! Rest assured
The most ideal answer for the guy should be "我一定会爱你!"

The " 会" is superfluous. And "会" connotes "probably/possibly", so it's not appropriate to use 会 when you think something will happen for sure. The 将 (adverb) connotes "something happens soon or in the near future".
我(将来)会把自己所有的财产都捐给慈善事业。
Probably I would ~ in the future.
我将把自己所有的财产都捐给慈善事业。
I'm going to ~ (soon, or in the near future).

我找到了一部以清朝宦官为主题的中国电影《大太监李莲英》(1990). 李莲英是清朝末最有实力的大腕太监之一。他(?)在1911年,即将清朝灭亡之前,去世。

I think your translation is correct. The "将" in the sentence is a preposition that has the same function as "把", as you pointed out. In short, 董老先生 has already donated all his fortune to charity. On the other hand, the sentence below means "You're planning on giving away all your possessions to charity". The "将" in it is an adverb.
您将把自己所有的财产都捐给慈善事业。

"边" and "面" are basically interchangeable when they are used in words that indicate direction or location such as front/behind, right/left, inside/outside, and etc. Possibly there might be a slight difference in connotation/nuance/usage, but ...... who cares? haha
左边/左面 右边/右面 (left side, right side)
上边/上面 下边/下面 (upside, downside)
里边/里面 外边/外面 (inside, outside)
前边/前面 后边/后面 (in front, behind)
东边/东面 西边/西面 (east, west)

"还不是 ~" is a kind of rhetorical/ironical expression, just like "可不是!" . And "各走各的路" is a noun clause (?) here, i.e. "to go separate ways".
