Be careful, 上床 literally means "get into bed", but actually it usually means "have sex" in Chinese.
P/S. Thanks a lot for the nice (and graphic) phrase "rise and shine", which is completely new to me!

The middle Chinese sounds of 汤 (tang1) and 尝 (chang2) are approximagely "tang" and "diang" respectively. So the modern vowel sounds are more "rhyming" than old ones. On the other hand, both 汤 and 尝 had the same tone (first) in ancient times, which is more ideal for rhyiming.
The tone of 尝 changed from first to second in the past because of its voiced consonant "d". In other words, 尝 lost its voiced consonant (and obtained an unvoiced consonant instead) in exchange of changing its tone from first to second. There are no voiced consonants in modern Mandarin.

As you said, 死去 and 去死 are slightly different from each other, but both 你死去吧 and 你去死吧 virtually have the same connotation.

I think 你先忙吧 （or 你忙你的吧） are mainly used to mean "I don't want to bother you now (and I'll come back later)". So, in the case of today's dialogue, 你忙去吧 would be more appropriate.
你先忙吧，我不打扰你了。
