They basically have the same meaning, although "天天"(tian1ian1) is more colloquial than "每天" (mei3tian1).

January 23, 2010 at 5:01 AMIt's not fair that you guys only mention "男人有钱就变坏" and not mention the second half of the well known Chinese saying, i.e. "女人变坏就有钱" (When women turn bad, they can earn money).
男人有钱就变坏，女人变坏就有钱。

As far as I know, pinyin was created for Chinese people, but not for foreign people. Pinyin employs the Latin alphabet because the set of phonetic symbols (pinyin) was originally regarded as the precursor of the complete romanization of Chinese (= elimination of Chinese characters) in the mid 20th century. Thankfully, this stupid plan was not materialized.

引起这个错读的原因是“秤”(cheng)字里边的“平”(ping)。有些人可能会以为这个“平”是个声符，但是“秤”字并不是形声字而是会意字。有意思的是，日本也有类似这样的现象。在现代日语中“天秤”这个词的正式读法是“てんびん/ten-bin”，不过这个读法其实来源于古代日本人的错读！
