pretzellogic two questions for you (forgive my curiosity):

1) you speak a very good chinese. It surprises me to see in an elementary lesson... you go through all lesson's levels at any new release?

2) if i didn t misunderstand you had an alitalia flight avatar till few days ago... how come? fan of bankruptcy companies (i can tell as italian :-)?

sorry the ot, but don t know where to post my request: would it be possible to have some lessons about 1) soccer 2) funeral -death - burial celebrations 3) religion, chinese gods, buddha

i just realized there are no lessons about these huati and would be interested into it since they are pretty frequent topics raised by chinese (there is only an elementary lessons about football that gives just a general clue)

thanks

one question: i noticed you often like to put into the dialogues metaphorical phrases. Do really chinese people always speak per allegories and with this "old wise man" style or that is just a chinesepod trick to teach us more and new vocab?

ah it s all clear. thanks yarajeev

following your comment i checked on the dictionary and i just learnt that frog in the bottom of a well is a fig phrase in chinese meaning "ignorant person" (meaning not related with the content of the princess story as you confirm)

sorry guys

it s my first upper intermediate lesson and probably i am a bit slow in thinking

i didn t catch at all the moral, summarized at the beginning with the short and the broad minded thing... to me the only one broad minded seems to be the king forcing the princess to behave properly. the princess itself is everything but broadminded and at the end get rewarded by getting married to a handsome prince.

So, who has to take as an example the little child? the silly shortminded princess or the wise broadminded king??
