the "if ...." structure has nothing to do with tense, so you don't have to worry about that.
If he comes, I'll tell you - 如果他来(的话), 我会告诉你。
If he came, I would tell you. = 如果他来(的话), 我会告诉你。
If he had come, I would have told you. =如果他来(的话), 我会告诉你。

质感(zhi4gan3) and 質感(zhi4gan3) are the same, just because 質感 are traditional characters.
手感 means " handle", indicates the feel by your hands touching.so you can say 手感很软。
质感 usually indicates the textural quality .

March 11, 2010 at 2:34 AMyes, that's the difference between 大陸 and 臺灣.
for example, we call club 酒吧 jiu3ba1, but 臺灣人 call it 夜店ye4dian4.

March 11, 2010 at 2:19 AMyes, we call it 近视激光手术 jin4shi4 ji1guang1 shou3shu4
some of my friends did this 手术 a few years ago, I also considered doing it. but there were some friends suggesting me not do it, they thought it was not safe since it was a very new technology in China. even the doctors here don't believe that it is 100% safe.so yes, ,some Chinese are too scared to do 近视激光手术。it is not very common here.

土豆 is the most common word for "potato" in the mainland,马铃薯 is another name for it which is written Chinese.
土豆 and 马铃薯 is the same thing.

April 6, 2010 at 2:39 AMhi, you can not say "一个哥们儿", but you can just call this person "哥儿们"
so in Chinese, "哥儿们" can both be "one friend" and "a group of friends".
tage, "哥们儿们" is wrong, but very interesting for me, haha.
