我好像也听人管"ice cream"叫冰淇淋。 冰淇淋、冰激凌那两个词的来源是什么？用这两个词是因为“激凌”和"淇淋”是"cream"的谐音吗？
wǒ hǎoxiàng yě tīng rén guǎn "ice cream" jiào bīngqílín. bīngqílín, bīngjīlíng nà liǎng ge cí de láiyuán shì shénme? yòng zhè liáng ge cí shì yīnwèi "qílín" hé "jīlíng" shì "cream" de xiéyīn ma?
I've also heard people call ice cream "bīngqílín". What are the origins of the words bīngqílín and bīngjīlíng? Are they used because "qílín" and "jīlíng" sound similar to the word "cream"?

July 07, 2011, 05:47 AM我真佩服中国的毕业生，他们真是面临多方面的压力。我的一个好朋友已经27岁了，又没有找到工作又没有找到婚姻对象。她亲戚毫无同情之心，不断地唠叨说要找工作啊，找个男朋友啊，让我朋友受不了了。学生们除了受到家人和社会的压力也要受到学校出于无理要求的压力也太过分了吧！

The if in "I don't know if..." is not a conditional if, and in Chinese you therefore don't use 如果. Instead, use the VERB-不/没-VERB structure or 是否/能否.
