July 8, 2009 at 7:16 AM我们可以放可乐在微波炉里吗?赫赫,但是不能放一听可乐在微波炉因为不能放金属制的东西在微波炉。
We can heat up coke in the microwave? Just don't put a can of coke in the microwave because the metal can mess it up!

July 6, 2009 at 3:58 AM@ Pete,
haha I just realized that the pop-ups are very labor intensive and are very 无聊 to make, so I guess that answers my above question? Very understandable!

First thanks a lot for posting the phrases used in this lesson.
But I was just wondering why for the "qing wen" lessons you don't have a discussion or expansion tab where we can click and listen? That way we can listen, see pinyin/English, and save words to our vocabulary. Its not a big deal actually, just wondering!
Posted on: Why are You Studying Chinese?
June 30, 2009 at 1:17 PM学中文太有意思了!I agree with everyone here that says studying Chinese is fascinating 有趣 and that living in China is an adventure that will never end, along with challenges 挑战 that will push you to the point of exhaustion 竭尽 yet will leave you yearning 向往 for more. If anyone makes a trip to Yangzhou 扬州, Jiangsu 江苏 province, let me know!
我有一个中国女朋友!你们有没有交中国的恋人?
p.s. Jenny and John,
你们来过扬州吗?你觉得你们可以做一个介绍扬州的intermediate的课吗?如果可以的话,我想帮你们。非常感谢!

April 7, 2009 at 7:51 AM谢谢Matt, how do I embed my lessons sets into a website or ChinesePod? Sorry to ask so many questions, but I'm not exactly clear how it works. I understand the feed on my itunes, is it the same thing?

April 7, 2009 at 4:01 AMWhen I am at a lesson set page such as "diary series", underneath the list there is a box called "embed code". What is that used for?

July 26, 2009 at 6:18 AMI'm gonna have to come back and visit! I am back in America - College Station, TX presently (home of Texas A&M University) and am having a great time. That plane flight from Shanghai to NYC is sooooooo long!
It was fun recording with y'all - thanks for giving me that chance!
I still want to meet John and Pete! Maybe next time!
Yangzhou is also known for its food - especially fried rice, and also for the slender west lake and the ge yuan and he yuan parks. Welcome to Yangzhou!
