September 27, 2011 at 12:08 AMAnother question: If you aren't supposed to drink tea on an empty stomache, and you aren't supposed to drink tea after eating...until an hour after, how come you can drink tea with your meal? or at least the Chinese restaurants serve tea with the meal?

September 26, 2011 at 12:19 AMMy favorite tea is "zhu hua" cha, but I can't remember the characters for it. It's this little white flower that looks a lot like the top of a dandelion, but white. I had it in Beijing at a tea house that sold all sorts of tea as well as tea sets. But I remember them using some sort of hand-held strainer to keep the flower out of the tea. Do you know where to find those kinds of things in the U.S.?

September 26, 2011 at 12:09 AMThe alveolar ridge is toward the top front of the mouth while the velum (velar nasal) is the top back part of the mouth. I remember studying this stuff in Spanish phonetics & linguistics in my sophomore year of college, so I just looked it up to refresh my memory. I did end up getting my B.A. in Spanish, but since I've studied Chinese so much now, it has overpowered my Spanish. :)

Wouldn't it be better translated as, "I cancelled more than 10 credit cards and only kept one"?
