Or slow the market down by making it more competitive, only sign short leases and be willing to move at any sign of rate increase. Make them scared to increase the rent.

Always have a little trouble understanding when to use 才, like in this lesson. How did you learn this one?

A bit disappointed the podcast doesn't seem to comment on this seemingly odd usage of 「多少」

I'm not sure you need to put an 儿/兒 after every single word just to indicate pronunciation.

Is pronouncing 就是 as "juice" common? I don't think I've heard it spoken like this before.

Please don't make them U.S. letter size. I prefer A4. Don't give in to U.S. imperialism! International standards make the world a better place.

Here in Taiwan 羊肉 seems to refer to Goat meat. Would it be correct to say that 羊肉 in china always means lamb, and 羊肉 in taiwan usually means goat? or always means goat?

Good question! Is it a little rude? Maybe it depends on context?

What makes you think 99.9? Excepting the older generation, many Taiwanese I know buy their meat cheap in bulk from places like Costco and freeze it.

Have you seen what the local costco looks like on the weekends, its crazy!!
