2010上海世博会的主题:城市,让生活更美好。

2010 Shànghǎi shìbóhuì zhǔtí: chéngshì, ràng shēnghuó, gèng měihǎo.

2010 Shanghai Expo theme: Better City, Better Life.

The expression in Chinese sounds odd, does it come from a Chinese proverb? If I had had to translate Better City, Better Life, I would have said it differently.

I am very happy that the shorter 世博会 has been adopted because I can never remember 世界博览会, which is the way I learned it orginally, even though if broken down the longer term makes sense.

世界博览会 - shìjiè bólǎnhuì - World Fair

Hey John and Jenny, great job! Nice 关系 John! :)

其实,世博会是六月久,从五月一号到十月三十一号。

qíshí, shìbóhuì shì liù yuè jiǔ, cóng wǔ yuè yī hào dào shí yuè sān shí yī hào.

Actually, the World Expo lasts 6 months, from May 1st until October 31st.

Chinese Pod 的课程很有意思,还有很创意!Very enjoyable!

另外还有一门关狗的课程是:"怕狗" (Afraid of Dogs), 也很好笑。

I know we can say:

累死了 - lèi sǐ le (exhausted or dead-tired).

辣死了 - là sǐ le ("spicy to death")
