March 24, 2010 at 9:25 PM2010上海世博会的主题:城市,让生活更美好。
2010 Shànghǎi shìbóhuì zhǔtí: chéngshì, ràng shēnghuó, gèng měihǎo.
2010 Shanghai Expo theme: Better City, Better Life.
The expression in Chinese sounds odd, does it come from a Chinese proverb? If I had had to translate Better City, Better Life, I would have said it differently.

March 24, 2010 at 8:23 PMI am very happy that the shorter 世博会 has been adopted because I can never remember 世界博览会, which is the way I learned it orginally, even though if broken down the longer term makes sense.
世界博览会 - shìjiè bólǎnhuì - World Fair
