I was still wondering on seeing an intermediate lesson with ordering boba since it is so prevalent in China and in the U.S. I as well welcome any lesson with the wonderful vocabulary you guys provide, but the Olympics are very far off, just as long as Bush's presidency. :]

September 3, 2007 at 8:13 PMKettle, 漂亮 is used like this and you shouldn't be offended. During soccer matches on tv, if a player scores the goals, you will be bound at some point to hear a Chinese announcer exclaim in awe of the beautiful goal that they saw (哎哟! 真漂亮!). So the term 漂亮 can be used for pretty much everything.
