Actually, 再说一遍 and 再说一次 are almost interchangeable. You ca say either one.

repeated to death, you can say:

一直重复，不停地重复

yīzhí chóngfù, bùtíng de chóngfù

Here "起来“ means "when....".

你笑起来真可爱。 (Nĭ xiào qĭlái zhēn kĕài.)

办 and 弄 match with different things, for example:

这个(东西）应该怎么弄？

zhège (dōngxī) yīnggāi zěnme nòng?

（这件事）怎么办？

(zhèjiànshì) zěnme bàn?

条 (tiáo) is also the measure word for 消息 (xiāoxi). 条 is more formal.

件 (jiàn) is not good for 消息。

做妈妈 and 当妈妈 are interchangeable, they are both common.

There aren't any other words which could be used in place of 做 and 当 in this sentence.

When Olympic Games/sports meet/world expo start, 开幕 (kāimù) used in preference to 开始 (kāishǐ). 开幕 (kāimù) is more formal. 开始 can't instead.

一枝 (zhī) and 一朵 (duǒ) (one stem)

一束 (shù) and 一把 (bǎ) (one bunch) - The former is more formal.

一盆 (pén) one basin,

I never heard 一簇 (cù)花。It's not common.
