lamartiniere,

Your 3 sentences are all correct, but sometimes "the tone and the question mark" can aslo make a question.

For example: 你来了?  下雨了?

ruoyi909,

It's hard to break this surname up.

You can say: 我姓梁, “栋梁”的“梁”。
Wǒ xìng Liáng, "dòngliáng" de "liáng".

栋梁 dòngliáng n. ridgepole; pillar of the state

lamartiniere,

Yes, you can conclude that the verb is always 4th tone and the noun 1rst tone.
差 has another pronunciation "chāi" in the word "出差/ chūchāi /business trip  "

I think http://www.nciku.com is a good online-dictionary.

dunderklumpen,

You're right. 想 is more like "assume/imagine/ guess". Thank you for your perfect answer!

我想滑雪和滑冰差不多。(Someone tells me what skiing and ice skating is like. I draw the conclusion that they are pretty much the same. Think=assume, imagine, guess,...=想)

我觉得滑雪和滑冰差不多。(I have tried skiing and ice skating. I think (by experience) they are pretty much the same. I think=my opinion is, I feel, I consider, I know,...=觉得)

eupnea63355,

他还小,别骂他了。He's still young. Don't scold him.

Actually,  "别.....了" is a sentence pattern means "don't continue to do something, stop doing something".

“别骂! ” is more like a "command" but “别骂了” just indicate " Don't continue to scold him, stop scolding."

lamartiniere,

差别 chābié is a noun, but 差chà is a verb/ adj. so you can just say: 没有差别 for "there is no difference".
