2) 真他妈 is more just spoken chinese and it is rude. Maybe you couldn't find it in dictionary. You can say: 真（他妈）好！ 真（他妈）漂亮！ 真（他妈）倒霉！ It like a mood/modal particle.
3) When they say '连口热水也没有' , this is a metaphore for nothing at home, not specifically that there isn't any hot water to drink.

他有很多知识。 (This is "有" sentence, 有 is verb, emphasize 知识)
他知道得很多。(知道 is verb， 很多 is complement. He know lots of things, not only 知识。）
他知道的东西很多。( There are two subject, 他 and 知道的东西。很多 is predicate.）
These three sentences almost have same meaning, but the sentence pattern is different.
他给我了很多启发。is correct.

除了酒后驾车的问题越来越常见以外，吸毒后驾车也成为现代社会常见的现象。
