累lèi - tired / weary / to strain / to wear out / to work hard
累léi - rope / to bind together / to twist around
累lěi - to accumulate / to involve or implicate / continuous / repeated

using 几楼 I my interpretation would be asking how many floors e.g.,
这楼几楼？ this buidling has how many floors?
my first inclination in asking what floor is your new apartment would be
' 你的新家什么楼？ ' wrong?
BTW, 楼 & 搂 are almost identical and with bad eyesight easy to mix up.

怎么回事 and 怎么会 seems to be a rhetorical 'statement=question', not seeking a 'real' answer but something said in a situation. Therefore I can imagine using either 怎么回事 or 怎么会.
In your examples, if you were Person A, what is your response(thoughts) to Person B? and vice versa?

A 他没来上班。(He didn't come to work.)
B 怎么回事？（means why? What happened? what's the matter?)
怎么会：
A 他没来上班。(He didn't come to work.)
B 怎么会？（means "How could that happen?" I don't think that's true.)

and throw in 怎么了 to add more confusion. zenmele seems to be very close in meaning to zenmehui.

I have not heard 给 being used with 买 to buy something.
