what are the grammar rules for 以后.

after a verb means 'after' and before a verb means 'in the future'?

trying to get my head wrapped around it, and what other 'after'  adverbs (i.e. 之后 or 然后 ) follow the same rules?  谢了

hey RJ no I meant the 'first KTV song that everyone learned' that they mentioned in the dialogue. was too quick for me to understand what they said. is it the one you listed below? and if so a link(Youtube etc) to it.

and I have never been to a KTV before, how unfortunate? :P

I thought of something.  so is this the rule? (easier to remember)

还huán to pay back/to return <used when returning money borrowed>

付fù to pay/to hand over to  <used when paying a bill or something bought>

付款fù kuǎn to pay a sum of money/payment

交jiāo to hand over/to deliver/to pay (money)/to turn over/to make friends/to intersect (lines) <overlaps with 付 but mostly for bills that come reguarly>  < & 2 special cases is a FINE or TAXES>

发fā to send out/to show (one's feeling)/to issue/to develop/classifier for gunshots (rounds) <used only for payroll>

I guess I have been messing it up for you folks I have yet to met a fuwuyan, bellman, cabbie, return or refuse a xiaofei!

and a BIG reason why 'hospitality' workers here in the USA aren't beating down the doors to service Asian country tourist.
