Perhaps, the meaning is that marriage is an irritation that lasts seven years. (Not my personal experience, but in composing the movie title against the then current backdrop of usage, that would make a little more sense.)

In the lesson, Jenny started to talk about Chinese and foriegners don't have the same idea about entertainment; Chinese don't like to go camping.  She said she might expand on this in the outro, but the explanation got pre-empted by other topics.  I would be interested if Jenny or anyone else would care to expand on the topic of why Chinese don't think of camping outdoors as a leisure activity.

(Sorry, the pixey dust the boss scattered about, makes me unable to do anything else, I just have to nod off.)

My first thought was to use water displacement to weigh the elephant, but not having researched the story, I have a couple questions about the kid's technique.

How is he planning to weigh the stones?

What if, the elephant is too heavy for the boat and it sinks?

I think a swimming pool filled to the edge of a spillway and measuring the volume of water that went missing when the elephant took a swim would be the most reliable and easiest method. Assuming elephants float.
