October 29, 2010 at 3:22 AMA few years ago, in Nanjing, it seemed every taxi had a prominant sign ordering passengers to fasten their seatbelt, but no seatbelts in evidence. Recently in Beijing, I didn't notice any signs about fastening seatbelts in taxis.

October 28, 2010 at 3:41 PMYolanda, 谢谢你的解释。美国的闪婚也有规则，不已经有配偶等等，但是一些州的规则不多又被管得随便，在那些州有生意人看机会用别的人的冲动来赚钱。不过租新娘的话，大概是假的婚礼或者很快离婚。基本上我开个玩笑。

September 26, 2010 at 4:58 PMJohn commented that the recent upgrade to the site was working well and had gone smoothly. Well, aside from the fact that I haven't received any subscribed content since the changes were made, and a few of the UI changes make the "current lessons" page almost unusable, its working great!

September 14, 2010 at 2:47 PM@Godfrey_Bigot, actually you can assert anything about the empty set, but this is hardly meaningless. E.g. If I don't have any books, I can truthfully say, all the books I have are made of gold. I recall using this principal in may proofs, especially initial conditions for induction.

I could be wrong, but that is my impression.
