I remember a photo of a young Vietnamese girl running down a road naked and in terror, because her house had just been napalmed. It was very disturbing, and it was on the front page of the newspaper, but I think that it was right that it was published. I later listened to her interviewed. On that day she endured far more than I did in seeing her picture. However, I think that picture had an impact on public opinion in the US about the Vietnam War. Sometimes it is best that we know what we do and what is done in our name. So, I don't believe in censorship.

March 18, 2009 at 3:52 AMFor what it is worth, the actual lesson content seemed pretty balanced to me. The lesson abstract was a little edgy, but they often are. The picture was, well, a picture.

March 15, 2009 at 4:24 AMThe music on either side of the examples is kind of jarring and therefore distracting. I think it would be better if the examples were better blended with the lesson. ...for what it is worth.
