December 14, 2008 at 11:29 PM我的万圣节体验和这个对话有些不同。比如说：“trick or treat"就是一个规定的说法。我们小时候没收到糖的话，不会做恶作剧，而长大一点那天做恶作剧比糖的收入有趣。不过恶作剧有不会原谅的限制。超过那个限制的话，惩罚一定很重。
对了， keeping 糖 和 唐 straight is also easier now that I embarassed myself by making and error in a blog posting, which someone was nice enough to point out.

December 4, 2008 at 6:22 AM虽然这是高级课程， 但是我会用英文叙述我的感觉。I was already an adult when China and the US normalized relations. So, I grew up thinking the long march was a terrible event. To hear it described admiringly requires some mental adjustment. I thank Chinesepod very much for giving me an opportunity to see something from a new perspective.
