October 19, 2008 at 5:53 AMI really like this series.
During this lesson, it occurred to me that I would like to get more background and vocabulary on the field of chemistry: how do you say, a chemical? what is the periodic table? what are valiances? what is a molecule, an atom?
As it is this lesson, mostly gives some very specific terms concerning one set of experiments. I think it doesn t equip me to discuss concepts related to chemistry very well.
...just a suggestion on how to make a very good lesson excellent.

October 18, 2008 at 7:50 AMThis seems a large step up in difficulty from following Jenny through the grocery store while she points out nouns (I mean vegitables). I don t mind (I completely understood all but a small part at the end where I think the students shot eachothers targets, but I wasnt completely sure.) It just made me wonder what level these video lessons are targeted at (no pun intended). ...entertained and curious.
