(1) I like to pay the bill when I can use my credit card and get frequent flier miles. So how do you say, "Do you accept American Express"? (2) Do you think it's fair to say that if a friend treats you twice, then it's your turn to treat? (3) Are some people always supposed to treat? (4) If I know I can't treat, then I bring a gift for my host. :)

Hi! How do you ask a taxi driver for a receipt? What term do you use? Also, what types of receipts do you win from? Fapiao? Xie Xie!

Did I miss a lesson? What did Peter do to deserve this?

Hi! This is great! Really getting a flavor for everyday conversation! Who else would use this vocabulary? Children? Teens? Only educated folks? Laborers? Farmers?

I've discovered that when listening to a dialogue at normal speed, I sometimes can't distinguish first and fourth tones. Any suggestions?

Hi! I like Zhang Liang's dad. I guess he's saying he was a stud in college. But, I do think that when someone's heartbroken, they don't need to hear, "Get over it." What I'd say to Zhang Liang now is, "Zhang Liang, what do you miss about Li Li? What did you do for her?" In other words, Zhang Liang needs to talk about his feelings now, not suppress them.
