I work in Macau at the Venetian Hotel. Everyday I talk to Chinese people from every corner of Asia. There is a place with water that people always ask me, why is there so much money in there. I try to explain to them that you take a coin and make a wish. When I say "yuanwang", they don't have a clue what I'm talking about. After enough charades they correct me and tell me it's "zhuyuan" or "kewang". People from Singapore, Taiwan, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing have all told me this. It's driving me crazy!
