This is not your point, but I remember from way back when the Odd Couple episode where Edward Villella played himself and told Felix Unger that he took up ballet to meet girls.

I think Alvin Ailey made the same point you're making around the athleticism of ballet dancers, and male dancers specifically.

And Cpod could use some lower level energy lessons. What they have is dominant at the advanced level.

Or maybe I should say that I'm unskilled and unaware enough to know if 大卖茶 was or wasn't served to me.

Me, never. I only just recently gave up Long Island Iced Tea. I was looking through the ~30 tea lessons, and there needs to be a lesson on Fruit Tea.

Apropos of nothing but the the fact that LA is about 100 miles or so north of San Diego, the scene in this picture is very much like what you see in Southern California, especially when you cruise many neighborhoods. So if you were into hip-hop in the 90s (I take it that you weren't since you didn't recognize the lyrics), you would recognize Ice Cube's lyrics as he's driving through LA in the video for this song. Arcane reference, I know.

It's somewhat difficult to talk about who was better at Kung Fu, when at the end of the day, what we were all seeing in movies were well choreographed fight scenes. Although maybe someone actually saw Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan in a real fight with someone.

DaveCragin, thanks for this. I've talked to people in the office where I work, and I get the perception from them that any mask "is better than nothing". So even a poor fitting cheap surgical mask is better than nothing. I also get the impression that people think they're getting double the benefit around the heavy pollution as well as protection from viruses. I'd love to get your thoughts on this.

This is the second lesson where someone mentioned Wu Tang Clan. I think Jenny and John secretly roll in Shanghai in pimped out Cadillac Escalades blasting Wu-Tang on the stereos :-)
