Helpful lesson.  The introduction is especially helpful for the tip about expressing interest in stuff.  Now if we can be only taught the term for "peer-reviewed research"

yeah, count me as one more person that likes the male voice actor. This guy is a CHARACTER! I like it when he says "EEEEEEEEHHHHHHH??????" or "AAAAAAHHHHHHH?????" One day, the actors will be introduced to us online. Or maybe not.

It probably was, but I didn't look too closely at him. Anyway, after the first hour, I got used to the smell. This is a good thing, since it was about a 6 hour flight.

I was flying from San Francisco to Boston, and I was sitting in the window seat, waiting for passengers to board the airplane.  After about 10 minutes, a guy gets ready to sit in the middle seat next to me, and he says, "you'll have to excuse me, I just came down from the mountain". I thought that was an unusual thing to say to someone you've never met or talked to.  Then he sat down next to me, and I smelled what he meant. I suspect he hadn't taken a shower in about 6 months. Or at least he hadn't seen soap in a while. Not even on his hands.

Everytime I see these poems, I don't recognize any of the form that I learned. This poem isn't even close (admittedly it's a palm form), and the Northern Long Fist I learned can't be found anywhere.  I only recognize Dragon whips his tail, and Swallow Skims the water:

Not sure what the metric for "few" is, but I know where 4 gas stations are in a 4 mile stretch, and I don't even drive.

I will say that it was less of a hassle to see my doctor in the US, and then get the necessary referral to see the specialist. In China, I wouldn't really know to see the specialist in the first place. Certainly helpful that we tend to go to the western medicine hospitals, so there's no confusion around Chinese or western medicine being dispensed.

And thank God the line at the hospital I go to isn't like the line in the picture for this lesson. That looks like a DMV licensing fiasco.
