even better, there's a wikipedia entry for it. where have I been? But I guess I shouldn't say something like, "that's the prettiest tramp stamp I've ever seen. Did you design it yourself?" ;-)

interesting. I didn't think people actually used dynamite to clean a drum of cement. On mythbusters, they used some high explosives (like a few pounds or so of C4) to blow one into screws and shrapnel.

ok, i'm not a kid, but i'm thinking about it. At least it's not on your neck so that we can see it. The interesting question is, does Foghat still rock?

yeah, I guess they'll be some explaining to do to the next girlfriend. Or maybe he can get her name tatooed on the other parts of his neck so that the current girlfriend doesn't get jealous. So what if he ends up with nine girls' names on his neck for nine separate girlfriends?

Good job highlighting this holiday fact, Cpod. I sure didn't know that in China, the government switched the work week around the way it does for holidays.

actually, now we need more on why they were digging, so we need to hear about the sewer system, and manhole covers, steam pipes, sewer lines, waste water, waste water treatment facility, gas lines, gas explosions and stuff :-)

actually, i've been somewhat curious as to what happens with a cement truck when/if the cement hardens before the mixer dumps out all the cement? I was watching an episode of Mythbusters ("if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing!") and it doesn't look good for a truck with a mixer full of hardened cement.

It would be interesting to hear the logic behind why this version made the cut. Was it because the Chinese tell this version, or it would startle more westerners (forcing better retention of the language learned), both, or neither?
