usually, I say something obnoxious like, "it was your pet cat/dog/gerbil/hamster/polo pony/orangutan/Uncle Ed? If so, he/she/it was really tasty!" This of course scores me no friends, but puts the kibosh on this kind of food terrorism right away. Plus, I eat andouille and chitlins anyway :-) Okra? Now that's DISGUSTING!

5 years on, it looks like the Cantonese show has been canceled! (or did I miss it) :-) But I'm ok with that. Cpod should stick with what it's best at: Spoken Mandarin lessons.

Yes, I hear that some Chinese pool maintainers don't want to clean hair out of filters and drains. I've had to do it myself, and I don't like it either. I unclog drains at home from my wife/daughters hair, then point out that its not my hair that's doing the clogging. I stopped pointing this out after repercussions ensued :-)
