I'm not so sure... If there was a man over the age of maturity and they said that line inserting 'Justin Bieber', there might be turned up noises...hehe

I thought the real word should be in the vocab section at the bottom of the Lesson PDF/text.

I also find some agreement. Because obviously there is much history in the US beyond 200+ years. I can recall history class teaching us about puritans settling to get away from the Britts, and many other things. Obviously still 'American History'.. Can we not go back as early as 3 to 400+ hundred years? Conversely, no way was the Government in China anywhere near the same in the decades or centuries prior to (1949 Mao). Was it even called 'China' 中国?Japan ruled part, The Mongols ruled China. Several times there was also an almost entire population extermination (in certain areas), until the last few decades of life in China and population boom.

We had the same question, at first we thought it was something really gross. Later I developed the theory that the Mom is rinsing her mouth with mouth wash while the kid is on his own potty in the bathroom.

The only problem i would raise is a few lessons back they had spanish music.. They are getting more and more creative, perhaps too creative.

This 'pod' was confusing.  What is the difference between a 'Seal' and a standard 'rubber' ink stamp that a company generally uses to sign the back of checks.  Also I've never heard of anyone giving one of those as gifts, in the US.  So there must be much more to one of these.  The pod even spoke of decorations on them.

Yes this understanding for how the rent is paid needs to be added to the wording, or text somewhere for context. Because those in the US won't understand how this is a Scam. The only time we ever transfer our money from one credit card to another, is when we do a balance transfer. This happens when we get a new credit card offer. Then this is exercised only as a last resort, usually when we've done something foolish like we've gotten ourselves in too much debt to too many credit cards.

We listened to this one.  But we are little fuzzy, on how this scam would actually work?  Ok the 'Scammer'-so called "landlord" gives you his credit-card, but so what?

Since when do you pay a CC? Or is that something normal in China, to actually pay towards a Credit card#?  Based on the CC# itself??  It is nothing I've heard of in the US.

Here in this lesson, they use the word 厕所, which I learned long ago.  But everytime I use it, I seem to get corrected from some of the Americans that are also learning the Chinese language.  They are saying that a word for 'Washroom' is more common.  I don't remember the other words.
