April 14, 2010 at 11:31 PMI have a question! In the second line of dialoge, the speaker says "我同事說,吃堅果可以變聰明". Why isn't there a 的 between 我and 同事 ? I thought that the 的 can only be omitted if the speaker is very close with the person he/she is speaking of. For example, "我媽媽" or "我太太". But the speaker is talking about his/her coworker, so why is the 的 omitted?
Please help!
