December 27, 2007 at 12:50 PMIn the expansion section, there is the following sentence: 他送我一束花。 Which is translated as, "He GAVE me a bouquet of flowers." Shouldn't the sentence read: 他送了我一束花。

November 6, 2007 at 12:28 PMThe following sentence is in the expansion: 我以前没吃过这个东西。 I don't understand the use of 过. It has appeared a couple of times recently, and I can't make sense of when it is used. Couldn't you just say: 我以前没吃这个东西。
