Demographics are changing.
Man United is playing three games in the US this summer, two at NFL stadiums. If some place like Kansas City can fill an NFL stadium for soccer, then soccer is the US must be fairly popular.

May 26, 2010 at 10:36 PMGo-manly, if part of the intent of learning Chinese is to learn about China and the culture, then a lesson about about Youku is probably helpful. At a minimum, it would point people to an alternative source for seeing videos. That's maybe important to many people given that YouTube is blocked.

I've seen plenty of fathers, and even grandfathers, take care of babies in Shanghai.

We bought 夏威夷果 at 龙虎山 in 江西省 near the birthplace of Daoism. The vendor gave away openers that are used to crack the shells.
Can someone post a list of some of the nuts one is likely to see for sale in markets in China?
