If someone asked me ”你喜歡中國菜嗎？“ I would want to say that I like "most" Chinese food. How would I say that?

March 14, 2017 at 9:22 AMSo, if I wanted to say "two more stops," would that be 再兩站? (In general, 再N站 for "N more stops") And, silly question, but 站 doesn't need a measure word? Thanks, great lesson, I needed this on the bus in Taipei. The MRT is multilingual, but not the buses. :)

July 28, 2015 at 8:51 AMFirst time I ever met my wife's adorable 95-year-old grandmother in Taiwan, she greeted me with "你吃了嗎？“ Having just survived a 15-hour plane ride from the U.S., I started to say "我們累死了“but she sternly ordered us "坐一下！吃吧！One does not argue with 95-year-old 阿媽. :)

March 24, 2017 at 9:22 AMCool, thanks! Does it matter if I say 大多數我都喜歡 or 我都喜歡大多數? The latter "feels" better to me, but maybe they're the same.
Is there a subtle difference between saying "大多數" and just "多數"? Maybe if I like 99% of Chinese foods, I'd say 大多數, but if I like only 60% of them I'd say 多數?
酸甜苦辣... that's really cool! I'd never heard that. I knew the figurative meaning of each of the tastes, but I didn't know you could string them all together like that. I'm going to look for an opportunity to use that.
