May 18, 2007 at 2:35 PM你好。。。What grammar role does 份 play in the following expansion sentence? 他没有收到三月份的帐单。 Does it turn March into March's, or serve as a measure word? 三月份 is translated as "March" when moving the cursor over the text, but 三月 is also March. 谢谢你的帮助。。。

May 13, 2007 at 5:25 PMI was told to use 公共汽车 或者 公车 for public bus? Where is 公交车 most common? For a newbie or ellie to actually use buses, we would need to know how to recognize what station we are at, and count the stations until we get off. I once took a bus, even with a Chinese friend, and we counted stations, but not knowing the directions, we took a bus in the wrong direction! (and spent 20 块 坐出租车getting back to the park entrance we started at).. 哈哈
