I Love this lesson! I've been driving here for about a year, and I've lived in New York, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, and have driven in crazy places all over the world; but I have to tell you that driving in China is especially challenging, (and a lot of fun!). The driving skill of the average Chinese driver is less than 3 years, they really have no concept of driving rules and regulations, and seem to interpret all the rules as "just for reference". Traffic does move well, on average, but not without using every available space - the shoulder, the emergency lane, and cramming 4 or 5 rows worth of cars into 3 actual lanes. If you keep your wits about you, and keep your eyes open, it can be lots of fun. But steer clear of the Audi drivers (or any others for that matter), with the "实习“ on the back. This means drivers have less than one year of experience, and might smash into you at any moment! I have not had the misfortune of such an incident, but your dialogue has left me prepared for anything. Thanks, Chinesepod for a really fun lesson.

User 2628 comment about Tennyson reminds me of the great reference in Advanced lesson 11 - 一窝蜂。yi1 wo1 feng1. Perhaps less poetic, but still pretty interesting way to describe a swarm of bees!

In the expansion examples, the audio and English translation are out of sequence with the Chinese characters
