1. 'jiong' is more like 'embrassed', 'embrassing'.
2. Actually though people use it a lot, it is not considered as a character officially. Technically, there is no new character being created in Chinese. People will create something but most of them are considered as symbol.

July 22, 2013 at 6:02 AM这个词比较难的。首先它是个连词conj，所以一般是用在两个句子的后一句里。意思也比较多，在对话里这个是“对比”的意思。
1. 时间的先后。A发生了，然后B发生。日食降临，则白天如黑夜。
2. 表示对比。小尤在旁边非常着急，李探长则冷静地笑了笑。
3. 表示原因。物体热则胀，冷则缩。
一般来说是用在动词的前面。另外由于这个词语是书面语，所以口语中是不大会用的。一般书面的，语言比较像古文的会用。

“趁”和“抓紧机会”比较像，英语当中经常用'take advantage of'。但是：
1.“趁”不是动词，所以 “你得趁这次当经理的机会，否则一下子就没有了。”是不对的。句子经常是：“趁……，do something”。你得趁这次当经理的机会，要求加薪。
2. “趁”的后面经常用“时间、机会、情况”，如果直接用“人”不太好，“我们趁这个代课老师”这个不太自然。“我们趁这个老师来代课，多偷点懒”。

2. “只要……就” 是 'as long as'. “只要……就行了/好了” 是其中的一种情况。As long as..., it's ok. 我觉得不是“了”的问题，有“了”和没有差不多。
3. ”把握“ 和 ”掌握“：”把握“ is physical 'to handle', 'to grasp'. 把握机会，把握方向盘；"掌握" is 'to control', 'to understand': 掌握技术，掌握政权。
4. 应该是第四声，我会改一下。
5. ”又“还是表示again。就是说：以前来过一位，但是很久没有再来一位。今天终于finally来了another又一位。”表示“很准确。
6. ”表达“ 和 ”表示"有时候一样。但是“表达”经常是“表示”思想、感情，而且需要说出来，让对方知道；“表示”可以是说出来的，也可以是通过别的东西。比如：红灯表示不能通行。
7. 加‘来’也是可以的。我觉得这里‘来’是一个口语语气，所以加不加都可以。
