激动 could be 'moved' as 感动 in some context. For example: He proposed to me. 我太激动了。But not always. So it depends on the context.
我很期待明天去旅游。Literally, it should be 'I am looking forward to traveling tomorrow.' 明天去旅游,我很激动!will be the literal translation for "I'm so excited to go traveling tomorrow"
