October 31, 2014 at 6:39 AMI do agree to your opinion. Even when you've not reached 100 h of study, you begin to get muddled up by homonyms. One the other side, people don't have to be afraid of learning Chinese characters: the more you learn them, the more they are easy to learn. Nevertheless, I really don't know how to learn to recognize characters without learning how to write them. Any ideas ?

I have no smartphone and I learn Chinese with Wenlin, Chinesepod and... notebooks ! So I guess that learning to recognize Chinese characters is possible with modern tools ! Anyway, I'll keep in mind your apps. Who knows, if someday I buy a smartphone... Thanks again !
