Posted on: Buying on Taobao
September 23, 2008 at 8:46 PMMost chinese websites are cluttered with too many adverts all over the place, especially the ones like taobao ,ctrip, tom etc.
I personally would prefer buying at a store and hone my 讨价还价 skills than click away on taobao and wait fot stuff to be delivered at my doorstep...unless it were something like an apple tv :)
Jenny, was the appletv priced cheaper on taobao as compared to the apple store?

The inside of my ipod might EXACTLY be like yours!
Cpod and Iron Maiden
I remember reading the caption of this pic you had put up on flickr .
Have been privileged enough to watch maiden twice in the last 12 months. Both in India. Bangalore and Mumbai where the 'somewhere back in time ' tour kicked off.
Up the irons \m/

September 21, 2008 at 7:26 PMCool video guys!
How about doing a vegetarian 'street food' video.haha
I'm guessing its non existent from what i've seen in China. The only two vegetarian street food i can think of are the sweet potato and the bread barbeque :) . Could someone tell me what they are both called in chinese

October 26, 2008 at 6:50 PMTalking of 师傅 , do you also have the proverb "grass is always greener on the other side" used often in Chinese. How do you say it?
